PEOPLE GOTTA EAT
Stories of Groceries and Grace
A little bit of Autry Greer & Sons’ grocery store history, stories of doing good for others, and God’s amazing grace.
SO … WHAT’S YOUR POINT, Mrs. Jan?
My point is this: I hope that the joy of feeding others around you is more of a priority now than it was before you read my book.
There are many opportunities in our lives to do good for others and to allow others to do good for us. When we feed others, the Lord looks on and sees our hearts, and He is pleased that we have had a hand in making sure people are fed. Jobs are just jobs. People are forever. Make time and give thanks for every opportunity to sit down with those you love.
PEOPLE GOTTA EAT. Remember to - Feed your family. Feed your friends. Feed those you work alongside. Our relationships provide food for each of us. Be a source for others to bring peace, love and joy to their lives. Be a giver. Let us give thanks to God for our many blessings.
“I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not be hungry, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
John 6:35

Optimist Club of Perdido Bay on January 10th, 2026!
When Reverend Dan Pastor of Lillian Methodist Church and VP of Programs for the Optimist Club of Perdido Bay invited me back in September to be the guest speaker and have a book signing at the Club's breakfast on Saturday January 10th, I was humbled, teary eyed and so excited!
